Grandma Nelson

My Grandma Nelson had a mild heart attack yesterday afternoon while getting ready for a family party. She had just gotten back from the store and went into the front room to rest where she collapsed. George found her unresponsive but alert an hour later and I ran over while waiting for the paramedics to come praying the whole time that it was not a stroke like Grandma LeFevre. They took her to Tremonton hospital and then onto Ogden where it was finally determined that she had a mild heart attack. They placed a stent (sp?) in a blocked artery and are possibly placing a pace maker. She is in the hospital and getting back to her self this morning but scared us to death yesterday.

I'm glad she is alright- that is scary! She's such a cute Grandma- send her our well wishes.

She is back to her old self now so that is good. I think she is coming home on Monday after a pace maker is put in. The boys have vowed to be her babysitter and watch her like a hawk!

We all love Zelma and pray for her recovery. It's hard feeling helpless when you have something happen to one you care about so much. Please take care of yourselves as well, because we love you too!

She is home now and doing well. She has a pacemaker and will do physical therapy to get her back up to speed.

Shaylyn-Glad to hear Grandma is doing better. I should have asked when I say you guys yesterday. I also should have responded to your question. I am still doing Oak Meadow. I don't think Helene Jones is still the director lady...but the last I heard they had a full load of teachers. I will email the office and find out for sure.
