Jackson is into dinosaurs and his
presents hadn't come in the mail yet so I picked him up "clay-o-
dino" at the
toy store. Basically, dinosaur cookie cutter and clay!

Jackson and America shared their birthday party.

I always make books a big part of any gift-giving situation. I ordered these 3 awesome informational books from Amazon. Between the 3, they will know everything there is to know about dinosaurs. Jackson's favorites are
Velociraptor and Triceratops.
Ooohh,
Aaahh!

I also ordered dinosaur bone molds,
Velociraptor and Triceratops (of course) from Amazon. We made them out of plaster of
paris, "antiqued" them with paint and stain, put magnets on the back, and re-assembled them on the fridge. We now have a dinosaur museum in our house...according to Jackson. Grandma and Pa were the first guests! Uncle Shane will be the second. He and Shane are best buddies. They are going on a buffalo hunt as soon as Jackson is old enough for a hunting
licence!
Happy 5th Birthday, Jackson! Who knew that the little baby you were born as 5 years ago would grow into such a wild man! You were such a pathetic, sick little thing. I never would have guessed that that same little baby with feeding and medicine tubes, swollen feet the size of dinosaurs due to hourly heel pricks, unable to make so much as a whimper would turn into YOU! You started to thrive the second you came home and never stopped. Grandma LeFevre always said, "Jackson, You're Funny!" I wouldn't have it any other way.
I love you more than pigs do squash. Love, Mommy
