It's finally here...

What you ask? The beginning of the end. Today I took Jackson to kindergarten round-up. He will be 6 in July so unless I plan on keeping him home until his mission, he has to go to school. He is a funny child and I love him to pieces. I would not want to change one thing about him, but for right now, he could care less about school. He is much more concerned about the monster buck that lives on the hill behind the house, the rodeo he is planning for this summer, various camping excursions, and the many expos that he wants to attend. Sit him down to practice writing his name and he will say, "I can't do that!" Anyway, we went to kindergarten round-up today for his testing and they said he can come to school. We still have a lot of work to do in the 5 1/2 months before school starts but this is truly the beginning of the end. I hope we all survive...His teacher included!

Is that the picture of Satan? If I were you I'd cut that page out. His teacher is going to have stories to tell on an hourly basis about the cute, funny little boy in her class. No doubt about it, she will be entertained!

P.S. I'm confused as to why those cowboys are roping satan. What is that book about?

Yes, that is the placemat of satan. What anyone would want to eat their dinner on satan is beyond me. Jackson was really scared of it when we discussed that satan was a real person and made me hide it. Kevin explained that the cowboys are roping satan because he wants their souls and they are just fighting back. It's a frightning thought, I know! Who ever gets Jackson in their class will be lucky. There will never be a boring lesson. They will have to work for their money but they will be lucky!
