Kung Fu Panda

Mom took Me, Leash, and the boys to Kung Fu Panda today. It was really cute and they all loved it...especially Jackson. He kept saying, "I can do that!" He has the karate skills of the panda at the beginning of the movie. If a panda can become proficient at karate, then there is hope for Jackson! Afterwards, we went to Walmart. You can't make a trip to a Walmart-dwelling town without visiting and then we went to Honeyville Mill to add to our storage. We both got some dried fruit, powdered eggs (Gross, you think? They really taste like eggs) I got some powdered chocolate milk, and we added to the list of stuff to get next time. It was a really cool store. They have dehydrated everything! The boys were pretty much driving me nuts by then, so we quickly made our way home. I had sweet pork cooking in the crockpot for dinner. It was pretty good...the closest to Cafe Rio that I have tried so far. Kevin has to go into work in an hour so we are just watching tv. I'm ready for bed!

I have used some of their products (love), but didn't know they had eggs -for cryin' out loud. Which products do you swear by

You must have been raised in the same family! My Mom has inventoried her whole supply and they can live for quite a while...like, I think a year! We could go for a while but the menu would get pretty boring after a week or 2. At the store they cooked up some eggs with "sausage" and it was really good. Jackson and I whipped up some chocolate milk and I will let you know how it turns out.

I swear by the dried bananas. My small can is 3/4 gone! I will save my big can for the very last second before the end comes. Maybe I'll eat them as I trek back to Missouri with the saints. Shaylyn made blueberry muffins this morning with the dried blueberryies and they were delish! I love steele cut oats for breakfast. I have been going to Ogden to get them- one can makes 17 servings. I got a big can yesterday that has like 47 servings and it is only about $1.25 more. A word of warning- get your cornmeal purchased ASAP. Randy and I talked to Bernie (his farmer cousin who wins the Utah corn growing contest every year) and he says the price of corn futures shot up yesterday due to the rain and floods in the mid-west. The price increase hasn't hit the stores yet so be forewarned.
